All statistics in this report are derived from anonymized, aggregated operational data from academic journals managed on the ScholarJMS platform. No individual journal names, article titles, author names, or institution names are disclosed. Data represents 23 active journals as of August 12, 2026.
Submission volume is counted from the manuscript submission timestamp (or record creation date where submission timestamp is unavailable). Submissions spanning 2021–2026 are included.
Peer review turnaround is calculated as the mean number of days between the reviewer assignment date and the review completion date, across all completed peer reviews with valid timestamps. Reviews exceeding 365 days are excluded as outliers.
Acceptance rate is calculated as the proportion of articles with a final status of "accepted" or "published" relative to all articles that reached a final decision (accepted + rejected). Articles still in review are excluded from this calculation.
Geographic distribution represents the country field recorded in the manuscript submission record, corresponding to the submitting author's declared country.
Open access rate and DOI adoption rate are calculated at the journal level. Plagiarism screening rate is calculated at the submission level.
